Fifth room
The fifth room covers interstellar space, looking at stars, nebulae, galaxies and a scale model of cosmic distances. There is also a model of a star, seen as a construction of chemical elements, a cupola with an astronomical telescope, which mimics the direct observation of the sky. In the same installation, computer software makes it possible to “see” the celestial objects at every wavelength, introducing the visitor to modern astronomical technologies and astrophysical research into Earth and Space as they are carried out in the digital era.
